PEPTALK are your wholesome friends giving unsolicited advice.

Boasting two thirds queer, two thirds POC and all female, PEPTALK is determined to be the positive representation they longed for growing up. Made up of Jay-Lee Kwan (keys), LaraFrew (bass), and Phoebe Sinclair (lead vocals), PEPTALK’s presence has a comfort and confidence that only time and genuine friendship can bring.

Deeply collaborative and wholly self-produced, PEPTALK’s debut Mixtape “Better With Friends Vol.1” saw the band work with artists from Australia and across the world–each track showcasing a unique artist to create a Mixtape of exceptionally fresh and exciting indie pop tracks. Features include local legends Keiynan Lonsdale, Montaigne, Chloe Parché and international rising stars ELLES (Canada) and Under the Influence (NZ).

Their tracks have received significant editorial playlisting support from Spotify and Apple Music–as well as radio support from Triple J, RRR, 4ZZZ and Nova FM.

As writers and producers, PEPTALK are consistent and prolific collaborators not just on their own, but also with other writer’s songs. Notable collaborations include LDRU’s ‘Alone Again', RISSA's 'Love Me Right', Thai artist WIM's 'Supernova' and 2026 Australian Idol Winner Kesha Nevé's 'Better This Way'. In 2023 Lara and Phoebe were selected by Troye Sivan to attend Songhubs, in partnership with World Pride and Sydney Mardi Gras.

Armed with an energetic live show, PEPTALK have performed at Sydney’s Fringe Festival, Melbourne’s Gay Times Festival, Brisbane’s Bigsound Festival and held their first national tour in October 2025. Together they bring an infectious energy, along with a fierce desire to befriend literally everyone.

PEPTALK’s highly anticipated EP “I Know I Brought It Up, But I Don’t Want To Talk About It” releases November 20, 2026 through Community.
